Dear colleagues,
Congratulations on the International Day of Police Cooperation!
This day was established by the United Nations General Assembly in December 2022 and is intended to strengthen ties between police officers of different countries in order to more effectively counter transnational crime.
An important role is assigned to cooperation with civil society institutions: strengthening friendly ties, exchanging experience and creating an atmosphere of trust. These tools work successfully within the International Police Association, the world's largest public organisation of police officers.
The Association's motto, “Service Through Friendship,” is now known to police officers in many countries. It helps them unite in the name of a safer society.
The Russian Section has been part of these ranks for about 35 years and successfully cooperates with many national sections of friendly countries.
