On 23 April 2026, the militia-police museum from the working settlement of Vacha in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, organised under the auspices of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch of the IPA Russian Section, moved to a new building in Nizhny Novgorod.
The exhibition is located at the zoo garden in the city’s Moskovsky District, together with other displays about the “Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945” and “Back to the USSR”.
The first visitors were cadets of the Children’s Railway, and the tour was conducted by members of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Branch.
The museum features modern stands, numerous mannequins of law-enforcement officers, uniforms, attributes, equipment and special apparatus, including items from foreign colleagues. Admission to the exhibition is free for members of the International Police Association.
