Annual “Knowledge Day” Event at the Aivengo Country Club

On 28 August 2021, the Moscow Regional Branch of the IPA Russian Section held its annual “Knowledge Day” event at the Aivengo Country Club.

This event, held for the fourth consecutive year, is timed to coincide with the beginning of the school year. It is organised for children from law-enforcement families, large families, and families of officers who died in the line of duty. This year, children from families of the North-Eastern Administrative District Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the 1st Special Police Regiment of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, attended the event. Gifts were presented to 25 children. Nineteen of them came to the celebration with their parents at the Drakosha Children’s Club, where a special programme had been arranged: superhero entertainers, a paper show, face painting, light and music effects, and other activities. The festivities lasted for three hours. Children and parents took part in various games and competitions together. Police officers do not always have an opportunity to spend a day off with their children — but this time they did. It was a joyful day, enjoyed by the children and their parents alike. At the end of the celebration, the children received gifts and refreshments at a sweet table. We wished them good health and every success in their studies.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the thoughtful and wonderful people whose support made this event possible. We are pleased to note that they are all members of our International Police Association. Our sincere thanks to them.

Such events receive recognition and support from the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This undoubtedly helps strengthen the standing of the International Police Association. We regard this area of work as one of our priorities and intend to continue it in the future.
